Supetar

Behind the horseshoe-shaped bay near Sutivan is the town of Supetar. The beach and the mausoleum depicted on many postcards can be seen from the boat as you approach.

Running through the car-free historic district around the harbor are natural stone houses with their whitewashed roofs. On the seafront promenade, which is lined by palm trees, many small, cozy cafés and restaurants invite you to linger.

While strolling through the town of Supetar, you will discover the beauty of the ancient houses nestled against one another with their bay windows. Walk along the Ul. Ignjata Joba in a southern direction from the harbor, and you will come to a library, which is recognizable by a bronze sculpture of the female figure "Aleqorija". Located on the first floor of the library is the Ivan Rendic gallery, which is definitely worth seeing. Supetar, which is 9 km away, can be reached in 13 min. by car.
