Wine lovers should definitely take a tour of the Stina Winery in Bol. As soon as we arrived at the estate, we were warmly welcomed by Jeri, the sommelier at Stina. He began the tour with the explanation of the history of the Stina wine project. It started in 2009, when wine producer Jako Vino rented a wine cellar and purchased grapes from local producers. He then told us about the different varieties of wine and various methods of production. Afterwards, he led us to the tasting room, which was very cozy and distinguished by old stone walls.
For the tasting, we selected four different red wines that are typical of the vineyard: Stina Crljenak, Stina Plavac mali Majstor, Stina Plavac mali Remeko djelo, and Stina Prošek. Snacks such as Grissini breadsticks with olive oil and sheep's milk cheese from the island of Pag were served with the excellent wines. The price for this tour was € 35 per person. We definitely recommend this tour. From the wonderful interior and the presentation of the wines to the small snacks, everything was absolutely first-class.
