The island of Brač and its surroundings
Pristine nature, rich history,
and cultural heritage
Dalmatia's largest island is famous for its white limestone and marble.
Whether the White House in Washington, Reichstag building in Berlin, Hofburg Palace or Parliament in Vienna - the striking Brač marble can be found in many historic buildings.
Located west of Brač is the island of Šolta, south of which is the island of Hvar. Accessibility to the mainland is excellent, because water taxis or ferries regularly run to Split.
