He first completed an apprenticeship at a school for design, graphic arts, and sustainable construction before ending up in a kitchen as a commis chef. It wasn’t until he happened to **help out at a pastry shop** that he finally realized what his heart truly beats for: sweet creations, little delicacies, and delicate temptations.

Anyone who bites into a perfect macaron at Gelateria Rosa today can let the result of talent and passion melt on their tongue. Ivan trained under the **renowned Croatian master pastry chef** Tereza Alabanda, worked in well-known Croatian patisseries, and eventually attended **Le Cordon Bleu London**—one of the world’s best culinary schools—where he studied **Baking & Pastry Arts.**
