On a particularly hot day in August, we planned a boat trip. The ladies at reception told us about the neighbouring island of Šolta.
We enjoyed the boat trip to Šolta and then continued on to the Blue Lagoon on the island of Drvenik. It immediately reminded us of a tropical oasis. Veli i Mali Krknjaš was formed by two islands and is the perfect place to spend a day completely relaxing.
The crystal clear water is so pure that you can see the small fish with the naked eye – you can easily see right down to the sea bed. We love the sea, so the Blue Lagoon was the ideal place for us to dive, swim and relax. To round off the day perfectly, we treated ourselves to lunch on the southern side of Šolta in a small, typical Dalmatian restaurant right by the sea. We enjoyed some wonderful, freshly caught fish. On the way back, we admired the passing lavender fields and olive groves. The perfect end to a breathtaking day.
