Wine enthusiasts should definitely plan a visit to the Stina Winery in Bol. Upon entering the estate, we were warmly welcomed by Jeri, Stina's sommelier.
He began the tour by telling us the story of the Stina Wine Project. It began in 2009 when wine producer Jako Vino rented a wine cellar and bought grapes from local producers. He then told us about the different types of wine and the various production methods. He then led us into the tasting room, which was very cosily furnished and characterised by its old stone walls.
For the tasting, we selected four different red wines that are typical of the winery: Stina Crljenak, Stina Plavac mali Majstor, Stina Plavac mali Remeko djelo and Stina Prošek. Along with the excellent wines, we were also served small snacks such as breadsticks with olive oil and sheep's cheese from the island of Pag. The price for this tour was €35 per person. This tour is highly recommended. From the wonderful interior to the presentation of the various wines and the small snacks, everything was absolutely top-notch.
