Bobovišća na moru

The picturesque village of Bobovišća na moru is located in an idyllic bay on the west coast of Brač. The harbour basin is harmoniously lined with old marble houses along the stone promenade. From the heights of the village, you can hear the bells of sheep and goats grazing freely in the pastures.

At the end of the bay there is a statue. It depicts the poet and statesman Vladimir Nazor, who spent his childhood in Bobovišća. In memory of his stay in Greece, he had three columns erected on a rock by the bay. From this vantage point, you can see the entire harbour and the town. Bobovišća na moru is rich in cultural heritage. The Roman and Byzantine archaeological sites are well worth seeing. It takes less than ten minutes to drive from Sutivan to Bobovišća na moru.
