Opening weekend on 29 April 2026
Many of our regular guests are already counting down the days until the start of the 2026 season at Hotel Lemongarden. Because they know that this marks the official start of indulgence, relaxation and a seaside holiday. And it’s always accompanied by a particularly atmospheric programme of events. Anyone who has never stayed at Hotel Lemongarden should make sure to do so by 2026 at the latest. After all, our hotel is Croatia’s most beautiful hideaway, situated right on the waterfront promenade of Sutivan on the island of Brač.

The start of summer
The opening weekend begins as early as Wednesday, 29 April 2026. It kicks off with a champagne reception at the Lemongarden Bar. With the gentle strains of a mandolin and stunning sea views, it’s the perfect way to get in the mood for the weekend. Everyday life fades into the distance, whilst the joys of the weekend are already clearly on the horizon. Against the backdrop of the sound of the sea, the hotel’s relaxed atmosphere becomes palpable. The traditional music underscores the typical Croatian hospitality.
The following day also promises plenty of holiday enjoyment. Start your day with breakfast right by the sea. Afterwards, enjoy a carefree day by our heated pool in the lush garden. Make yourself comfortable on one of the cosy sun loungers, unwind with a coffee or a cocktail, and feel the sun warming your skin and lifting your spirits. During the delicious dinner, the local klapa group ‘Morbin’ entertains guests with traditional sounds of the Adriatic.
A delicious start to the season at the Hotel Lemongarden
Finally, another authentic highlight awaits guests on Friday, 1 May 2026. On the private beach of the Hotel Lemongarden, Ela Vrsalović will offer an insight into Dalmatian cuisine. The Croatian head chef places great emphasis on seasonal and regional diversity; she will charmingly share her culinary secrets with the participants. As they cook classic Dalmatian dishes together, she reveals typical cooking techniques, interspersed with stories about the local cuisine. During the meal that follows, guests will create their own stories and memories.
On Saturday, the route takes you along the Maestral hiking trail up to the Lemongarden Olive House. Our tour guide Vedran will accompany you on the one-hour walk through picturesque olive groves and pine forests. The team from the Hotel Lemongarden will be waiting for you on the terrace of the Olive House, naturally with regional delicacies. These include, for example, lamb dishes and dishes from the peka, that traditional clay pot braised in the embers of an open fire. The Croatian band Naranča will provide the musical backdrop. The evening will draw to a close in high spirits.
Spring at the Lemongarden Hotel
Thanks to its lush gardens, where brightly coloured bougainvilleas thrive and lemon trees are in bloom, the Lemongarden Hotel is well worth a visit even in spring. What’s more, the island is still a little quieter at this time of year and the weather is perfect for outdoor adventures. Neither too hot nor too cool, but just right for long hikes and mountain bike tours. Or would you prefer a bit of sightseeing? If you like, you can take a dip in the cool sea or simply swim a few lengths in our heated pool. Either way, your stay will be unforgettable!
Tip!
Book your place for the opening weekend today. No time? How about a trip to the seaside over Whitsun, for example? Or a long weekend around Ascension Day? We look forward to seeing you!
