We are built right by the water. Every evening when the heat of the day subsides, the harbor promenade of Sutivan transforms into a Mediterranean catwalk, where locals and guests take strolls.
Our restaurant is right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle and is the perfect place to watch the spectacle.
If you prefer a somewhat quieter setting, you can sit at the tables across the way right on the water. From here, you can watch the fish splash about in the water, and if you reach out your hand, you can even touch one of the boats that might have caught your dinner.
For more than 700 years, Brač was part of the Venetian empire, and the Venetians had a significant influence on the island. Our idea of good food and many of our recipes are therefore Mediterranean - from crudo and homemade pasta to stewed octopus.
Our ingredients come from the island and the surrounding sea: sweet shrimp, luscious sea urchins and plump oysters from the rocky bays, fresh fish and calamari from the straight of Split, and the delicious, famous Brač lamb that has lived its whole life grazing in salty pastures. Organic vegetables, herbs, and olive oil come from our own farm.
Executive chef Ante Udovičić has worked in Croatia's best restaurants and also gained inspiration from other sources such as Noma and the Roca brothers. Ante is a fanatic for high-quality products, is a grill master, and is willing to work hard to create good food and make impressive dishes out of humble ingredients - for example his famous Brač lamb tripe in a tomato sauce.
