Bobovišća na moru

In an idyllic bay on the western coast of Brač is the picturesque town of Bobovišća na moru. The seafront promenade paved in stones is harmoniously lined by old marble houses.

From the heights of town, you can hear the bells of the sheep and goats that are grazing and roaming free in the pastures. At the end of the bay is a statue of poet and statesman Vladimir Nazor, who spent his childhood in Bobovišća.

In memory of his stay in Greece, he had 3 pillars built on a rock in the bay. From this vantage point, you can overlook the entire harbor as well as the town. Bobovišća na moru is rich in cultural heritage. The Roman and Byzantium archaeological sites are a must-see.

It is less than 10 min. by car from Sutivan to Bobovišća na moru.
